The JetBlue Hockey Club took flight in 2019, fueled by the shared dream of Captains Nolan Collins, Robin Staveley, and Thomas Murphy. From a small band of passionate skaters in Winthrop, MA, we've soared to over 130 JetBlue crewmembers, united by our love of hockey and proudly sporting the JetBlue Hockey logo.
Collins' relentless drive made us the first airline team to compete in the Air Traffic Controllers International Hockey Tournament, where we left an indelible mark. Murphy’s dedication keeps our practices sharp and our social media buzzing, setting the stage for JetBlue Hockey’s powerful presence. Staveley’s leadership and connections launched the Airline Invitational Classic, now an annual event in Nashville, TN, featuring top teams from major U.S. and Canadian airlines.
JetBlue Hockey competes globally, embodying the spirit of teamwork and determination. We're thrilled to face the Boston Bruins Alumni team in our first charitable event, raising funds for the Bruins Foundation. This event supports local charities like Special Olympics and Children’s Hospital. Through our passion for hockey, we aim to inspire and uplift communities, making a difference one game at a time.
